Representatives of the Sub-Committee on Human Resources took part in meetings with the Social Security Commission of the Business Coordinating Council.
Among the matters analyzed in these meetings were:
- The status of the collective contract with the IMSS.
- First Job Program.
This second matter finally took the form of a Decree that includes the general guidelines on complying with the First Job Program, which took effect on January 15, 2008, and was published in December 17, 2007.
Furthermore, in order to keep brokerage firms' human resources department up to date, the results of new provisions issued in 2007 were analyzed and distributed, including: aspects pertaining to the Regulation on Medical Benefits of the Mexican Social Security Institute, the Fiscal Reform (wage credit, employee profit-sharing deductions, social planning expenses, IETU, etc.).
In 2007, the activities of the Interchange Group (list of candidates and vacancies) were strengthened through the creation of a Virtual Interchange Group in the city of Monterrey, Nuevo León.
Survey on Wages and Compensation, 2007.
A new alignment of job descriptions was introduced, which resulted in the Tenth Survey of Brokerage Firm and Mutual Fund Manager Wages, Compensation and Personnel Structure.
Also, the seventh edition of the survey for Mutual Fund Managers was developed, and 16 institutions participated.
