One of the most important ways to promote the securities market is to inform the public of the tools the market offers both on the side of financing, and in the investment instruments available.
Our intent is to inculcate the precepts of the securities market among students who are studying economics or business administration, who will be the ones to make decisions for their institutions in the future. With this in mind, we took the following actions in 2007:
- Organized 37 securities trading drills in universities across the nation. We have collaboration agreements with more than 40 universities nationwide.
- Participated in university seminars and held 24 conferences on financing and investment through the securities market.
Welcomed 5,500 attending students.
As part of its certifications, through its Securities Market Educational Center, AMIB had the following results:
Gave 187 ethics courses to 4500 individuals, for a total of 27,800 man/hours.
Under agreements with various universities in Mexico, AMIB certifies students who are completing their degrees in programs relating to business management:
ITESM Certification Agreement (897 students graduates have been certified).
>ITESM Mexico City Campus.
>ITESM Mexico State Campus.
>ITESM Chihuahua Campus
>ITESM Santa Fe Campus.

>Certification Agreement with the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO), where 89 students have been certified.
>Certification Agreement with the Instituto Tecnológico de Sonora (ITSON) where 88 students have been certified.
>Certification Agreement with the Universidad Panamericana (UP) Guadalajara, in which 29 students have been certified.
